This is no doubt my favorite time of the year. I enjoy working with black and white photography but I love the colors of spring time. Wilmington is blooming with color right now, just in time for the Annual Azalea Festival. If you live in or near the area, or are just visiting Wilmington, NC, I want to invite you to visit the 28th Annual Juried Spring Art Show and Sale presented by the Wilmington Art Association. My black and white photo titled Jetty I was selected for the show and won the Southeastern Camera Sponsor Award. I also have smaller images for sale in the photography section art bins. This was the first year I participated in the event and I was impressed with variety of art displayed. I was honored to have been selected to exhibit in the show. The show started on April 9th and tomorrow is the last day (April 11, 2010). The art show is being held in the beautiful Perry Hall of St. James Episcopal Church at 313 Dock St. in Historic Wilmington, NC. If you are looking to add to or to start your art collection, this is a great art show to attend. The WWA Spring Art Show affords something for every style and budget in a friendly welcoming atmosphere
